The first buildings of the estate date back to the XVII century, when with the art of dry stone walls were built stables for livestock farming and agriculture; thanks to the its privileged location between the mountains and the sea, it became soon the summer residence of the noble families of the time, that could take care of their business in the nearby city although living in the country.
The main mansion was thus expanded in 1857 and at the beginning of the XX century was built the Liberty-Style Villa with the panoramic tower; since then it became the country residence of the Marquis Raggi and directly from him the current owner Ms Pietrina Fanchiotti bought the entire property, including the antique furniture in it preserved, such as an Italian Rococò sitting room, a Louis XVI living room, a Napoleon authentic bed and a wine cellar with precious bottles dating back to 1860.
Recently used as a film set, the estate is currently open to receive the B&B guests; Ms Pietrina and her family have been recently working hard to bring back to life a property unique in the past and also in the present.
